BLACKBURN Rovers are in no rush to sell Vince Grella despite reports that they are trying to offload the Australian to fund a move for Real Madrid midfielder Guti.
It is understood that Turkish giants Galatasaray recently made a tentative enquiry about Grella but Rovers have heard nothing since and are not actively attempting to sell the 30-year-old.
Paul Ince brought Grella, who will represent Australia at this summer’s World Cup, to Ewood Park from Italian side Torino for £4m.
Galatasaray already have fellow Australians Lucas Neill, himself a former Rovers player, and Harry Kewell on their books and are in the market for a midfielder.

Blackburn Rovers are set to offload midfielder Vince Grella to Turkish club Galatasaray.
The 30-year old is set to become the third Australian, behind Harry Kewell and Lucas Neill, to join the Istanbul-based club.
Grella’s agent, Italian-based Sergio Berti, is believed to putting together the final pieces of the deal now and it has been reported that Grella will not say not to the move.
“Blackburn and Gala’ have agreed to the deal, now it’s up to Vinnie and I don’t see any stumbling blocks at all,” a source close to Grella said.
“He gets a fresh start at a club which will suit him financially he will be better off also.
“Everybody knows that he has struggled with injuries at Blackburn and their fans haven’t seen the best of him, simply for that reason.
“A fresh start will suit him and Blackburn will not stand in his way.”

GALATASARAY look set to offer Vince Grella a route out of his Premier League nightmare as they home in on the signing of Blackburn Rovers’ injury-haunted midfielder.
The Turkish giants have already made contact with the Ewood Park outfit and it is believed they are close to agreeing a price for Grella, understood to be significantly less than the 4million euros paid by Rovers two summers ago.
Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is an admirer of Grella’s talents but, with his poor injury record taken into account, is likely to be willing to cut his losses on the midfielder.
Grella, who is currently preparing for Australia’s World Cup campaign, is also believed to be keen on the move and a deal could be agreed within the next week – as Galatasaray look to complete their business before the start of the finals.
Fellow Australians Harry Kewell and Lucas Neill are already at Galatasaray, as well as former Blackburn midfielder Tugay, who is on the coaching side.
