Blizzard have posted a Diablo-esque teaser image on their EU site. Could it have anything to do with this weekend’s World Wide Invitational event in Paris?
Blizzard’s hack, slash and loot-heavy adventure was released back in 2000 and sustained a huge following, especially online. But since then its been very quiet.
Whispers of a sequel have cropped up every now and then but eight years on there is still no firm news. Until now. Well, sort of. Blizzard have posted a Diablo-esque teaser image on their EU site. Could it have anything to do with this weekend’s World Wide Invitational event in Paris?
Previous events in the US and South Korea have seen big announcements – Burning Crusade, Starcraft 2 – and Paris is unlikely to be any different. Could we be seeing the announcement of Diablo 3 this weekend?
