Blackburn want Andrew Johnson to bolster their attack as the Fulham forward edges closer to a move away from Craven Cottage.
The former England striker’s deal runs out at the end of the season and Fulham’s refusal to match his current £40,000-a-week salary has raised the prospect of a January transfer.
West Brom and Leicester have also been monitoring Johnson, while there has been interest from Queens Park Rangers.
If Johnson, 30, was to move in January, he would be available for a cut-price fee, possibly around £2million.
