BLACKBURN Rovers were victims of daylight robbery at the Stadium of Light this afternoon as they crashed 2-1 to Sunderland.
The visitors had two goals disallowed, saw two hit the woodwork and wasted countless other chances as Sam Allardyce’s men are still left waiting for their first Premier League point of the season.
Croatian debutant Nikola Kalinic, on as first half substitute for the injured Franco Di Santo, missed a host of decent chances as Rovers were again made to pay for a lack of ruthlessness.
Gael Givet had given Rovers the lead but a Kenwyne Jones double either side of half time handed the hosts an undeserved three points.
