Leffe Brune beer

This is another beer I picked up a few weeks ago, very delicious! And very potent!

While sharing a Leffe, consumers savor true moments of indulgence. Designed for real beer lovers, Leffe is to be savored when there is time to relax and enjoy the deep, complex flavors wrought from a centuries-old brewing tradition.

The brand is available in Blond & Brown. Each of these unique brews is made by craftsmen who rely on hundreds of years of brewing competence and tradition to make a drink that offers a perfect moment of indulgence. Each one has its own character – treats to enjoy for different occasions.

A finely crafted Speciality beer that is smooth and malty brown with the great caramel aroma of roasted barley, giving it a bittersweet taste. Roasted malts also develop a warm character and give this challenging beer its deep brown colour.

My favourite Canadian beer

I’ve sampled a few beers in my visits to Canada, however, my favourite to date is Rickards red.

RICKARD’S RED has remained Canada’s top selling red beer for over 10 years. First brewed in Vancouver at the original site of the Capilano brewery in the early 1980′s, RICKARD’S RED is made with a unique blend of three different malted barleys. The result is an unbelievable smooth and delicious red beer with exceptional drinkability.
