Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have entered the race for Roque Santa Cruz.
The Paraguayan international is one of the hottest properties in English football following his debut season at Blackburn Rovers, which brought him to the attention of a number of Premier League clubs.
Manchester City and United are willing to pay around £12million for the player who cost Rovers just £3.6million when they signed him from Bayern Munich last summer, whilst Arsenal are also keen.
However, it is being reported that Juande Ramos has made Santa Cruz a top target for his White Hart Lane squad, and he is ready to match his Premier League rivals all the way.
